Unable to Turn On

A computer that abruptly turns off or struggles to start, it might be due to a failing power supply. ensure that your computer is correctly connected to the power outlet. If the issue persists, try plugging in another functional device to the same power outlet to verify if there is sufficient power.

PC Slowing Down

If your computer is slower than normal, you can often fix the problem simply by cleaning the hard disk of unwanted files. Upgrading to an SSD and increasing the RAM will also speed up your computer!

Unable to Boot Up

This could mean an operating system issues or a hard drive fault. If you did not shut down your computer correctly multiple times, this could cause bad sectors on the hard drive as well.

Internet Issues

Often the problem is simple and may be caused by a bad cable or your service provider issue. More serious problems include viruses, a bad network card or modem, or it can also be a corrupted driver issue.

No Display Showing

If your monitor isn’t showing anything, then this could be a problem with the monitor itself or the graphics card. You should connect the monitor to another PC to see whether the problem is with the PC or the monitor. If the monitor isn’t powering on at all, then replace the power cable with a working one and see if it helps.

Unusual Noises

Loud clicking or grinding noises from your computer usually signal hardware failure, likely related to cooling fans or hard drives. If it's the cooling fans making noise, consider replacing them, as they're affordable and easy to change with a screwdriver. However, for components like CPU fans, power supplies, or graphics cards, replacements can be pricier.

Overheating

If a computer case lacks a sufficient cooling system, then the computer’s components may start to generate excess heat during operation or could be due to a dried thermal compound and/or a build up of dust. To avoid your computer burning itself out, regular servicing of about once every 2 years is recommended.

Blue Screen Of Death

Nothing's scarier than encountering the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) while working on an important document. This STOP error often indicates major system problems, requiring further diagnostics. When the blue screen appears, take note of the white text with error codes, which you can search online to pinpoint the issue and find a solution or seek help.
